YIELD RATIO
Yield Ratio
The Yield ratio or Yield rate is used to calculate the percentage of candidates hired out of all applications received. It is an HR metric used to assess the effectiveness of each stage of the staffing process. The main goal of calculating the yield ratio is to discover the source that provides the finest prospects at the lowest cost. A higher Yield Ratio indicates that a larger percentage of candidates are successfully advancing through the stages of the hiring process. Conversely, a lower Yield Ratio may signal inefficiencies or challenges in a particular stage that need attention. The Yield Ratio is computed by dividing the number of candidates who have completed a particular stage in the hiring process by the number of candidates who entered that stage.
